Overstimulated?

So, considering how well the stimulus bill HASN'T worked, the President is considering another one! This is facing strong republican opposition, which is well deserved. I just don't understand why something that has yet to work whatsoever would even be considered again. Genius, wouldn't you agree?
In case you haven't heard, Sarah Palin is stepping down as Alaska Governor at the end of the month. As shocking as this is, it seems to be as a result of the muck that our government has become. This isn't making her political career look very hopeful, but at least someone that I believe to be very credible, is speaking up.
Something else very interesting involving our government, has come to my attention. Preloaded cash cards that I'm sure we're all aware of, and have even purchased, are now being tampered with. Until recently, these cards haven't carried an expiration date. Well, you may be surprised when you go to use one that you've been holding onto for a while, and it doesn't work! This is because our fine government has decided to place an expiration date on some of these cards. Once this expiration date has passed, the remaining balance is handed over to the government, who has proven so be oh-so-responsible with our money lately. Though I need to research this a bit further, it is shocking nonetheless.
I apologize for the run-on sentences in this post, but I blame it on the blasphemies of this administration making me eager to spread the word. Hopefully I've avoided spelling errors in the meantime!

Hmmmm.....a bit more than yesterday...

Credit Card Reform

Obama has just signed into law the Credit Card Reform Bill. This isn't good for anyone. This bill is going to make it significantly harder to get a credit card, which in turn, will lead to more pay day loans/advances, and other means which are worse than using a credit card. This bill will also make it very hard for eighteen year olds to get a credit card. College may go out the window for some people who can only afford to get by with one. I agree that credit card companies should be monitored a bit more closely, considering that they are misused, overused, and allow people to get into thousands of dollars of debt with virtually no way out. But this bill is only going to lead to another government bailout, more national debt for our children's children's children, and yet another government-ran industry.

If you still do not believe that our President is turning us into the USSA, you are going to be in for a rude awakening. It is only a matter of time before we are an entirely socialist country, which is extremely unfortunate. Already, job loss is at a 25 year high under the Obama administration. This is leading to more tax dollars for more unemployed people. More government jobs that only eat money rather than make it. The private sector is quickly disappearing. The only good thing that came out of this Credit Card "Reform" Bill, is that we are now allowed to carry our guns in public parks. Imagine that. Start clinging to your democracy, people.
